Motivated by Love vs. Recognition

To the degree that self-seeking and the need for recognition abides within us, our ministry will be corrupted. Those who are easily offended because they are not given an important title or position should never be accepted by that title or given that position! The difference between those motivated by a desire for recognition and those motivated by love for the Lord is the difference between the false prophet and the true. -Rick Joyner

A True Hypocrite

A hypocrite is not a person who says one thing and does another. That is not a hypocrite. The whole world is a hypocrite then. A hypocrite is somebody who claims something and will not pursue it. There is a difference.

Standards of man vs. God

The expectation of people has a high demand but a low standard.
The expectation of God has a low demand but the standard is perfection.

The standard of man is self, his expectation for others is perfection.
The standard of God is perfection, his expectation for man is self - less.

人的标准是自己,对别人的要求是完美。
神的标准是完美,对世人的要求是舍己。放弃自我。

人以自己为义,却以完美要求别人。
神以完美为义,所以舍己为救世人。

Humility is the ultimate standard of greatness in the Kingdom of God。~ Mike Bickle

Conventional Church vs. House of Prayer ~ Jon Boegel

It is PRAYERFUL. While the power-starved, conventional church is wrapped up in the “business as usual” pursuit of politics, structure, techniques and discussion groups the House of Prayer movement is fasting and enriching itself in deep, focused communion with the author and the builder of the Church Himself, Who is ordaining them to bring up the presence of God to the people of God that they may be greatly empowered to do the work of God.

The unchanging principles of God vs. New wine and New Wineskin

God is unchanging but he is always doing new things...

What a contradictory statement!

Trust vs. Presumption

The Bible tells us to Trust

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
   and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
   and he will make your paths straight.[a]
 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
   fear the LORD and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
   and nourishment to your bones.
 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth,
   with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
   and your vats will brim over with new wine.

The enemy wants us to live in Presumption.

 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
   “‘He will command his angels concerning you,
   and they will lift you up in their hands,
   so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]
